Meet Mr. McDonald
I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Delaware State University , and I have spent the past 5 Years teaching and tutoring students in 3rd through 6th grade. I understand where many children get stuck, from multiplication and division in 3rd grade to ratios and pre algebra in 6th grade, and I take time to explain each concept with patience and clarity.
Over my years in the classroom, I have seen what truly helps math click for young learners. I design every tutoring session around your child’s current schoolwork so what we practice connects directly to their homework, quizzes, and tests. What grades does Adrian tutor?
I work exclusively with 3rd and 6th graders and after 5 years in the classroom I know their curriculum inside and out. Every session is built around exactly what your child is learning right now in school.
How is this different from regular classroom teaching?
In a classroom your child is one of many. Here every session is built entirely around your child's pace, their gaps, and their specific grade level goals. Nothing gets skipped over or rushed.
How often should my child have sessions?
Most students see strong results with one to two sessions per week. A plan is always discussed during the free discovery call based on your child's specific needs.
Where is he located? Can we meet in person?
Adrian is based in Dover, Delaware and welcomes in person sessions at his location. Families outside Dover can also connect through online sessions using a kid friendly platform with a shared digital whiteboard.
